There are a variety of things to do in and around the Canadohta Lake area such as golfing, arcade games, miniature golf, roller skating, hiking, biking, swimming, fishing, boating and horseback riding. Also nearby there are state game lands, trout streams and historic sites to visit.
CLABA (Canadohta Lake Area Business Assoc.) sponsors several community activities throughout the summer. A schedule of these events can be found on their website and facebook page, as well as in their seasonal publication, The Breeze.
For those of you who take a special interest in nature or photography, please visit the Canadohta Lake Birders Facebook page. There are some extremely talented photographers near Canadohta Lake and more than enough wildlife to photograph.

French Creek entices many fishermen to wrangle game fish such as northern pike, walleye, and muskie. There is also an abundance of smallmouth bass and panfish in the creek and trout in many of the creek’s feeder streams.

The East Branch is a flat surface trail that is mostly ballast and some dirt surface along the way. The trail skirts wooded hillsides, Amish homesteads, farms and fields of brush to Clear Lake and wetlands.

The Oil Creek Valley is the site of the world’s first commercial oil well. Oil Creek State Park tells the story of the early petroleum industry by interpreting oil boomtowns, oil wells and early transportation. Scenic Oil Creek carves a valley of deep hollows, steep hillsides and wetlands.
